A PUPPY who was born and bred in Burnham has won an award at the prestigious dog show Crufts.
Andy, a young West Highland White Terrier, was raised by Steve and Denise Jennings, who own The Dog Salon in Burnham High Street.
Crufts, which was held from March 9 to 12 at The NEC in Birmingham, is the world’s largest dog show, and Andy impressed the judges enough to win Best Puppy in his breed, beating out many other competitors.
Andy previously featured with owner Steve on ITV’s This Morning in February, where he was interviewed about which breed is best for prospective owners.
Steve Jennings said: “Andy is quite a little star, he’s quickly becoming a celebrity.
“Crufts is always a great experience, and Andy’s win is a great promotion for Denise and I at the Dog Salon, and Burnham as a whole.”
