CHILDREN were given the chance to get hands-on and learn about nature with a free half-term workshop.
The class, hosted by resident Jacqui Monk at St Lawrence Church, Main Road, aimed to educate children about nature by teaching them conservation skills.
They were given the chance to make butterfly and bee conservation gardens, as well as making hedgehog cages and potting flowers, which they were able to take home with them.
The youngsters were also able to take part in some bird watching and many other activities.
Organiser, Jacqui Monk has run similar classes in the village in the past.
She said: “The children are loving being hands on with nature, their response has been fantastic.”
