BURNHAM Sailing Club felt the full force of Storm Doris this afternoon.
The storm flipped the sailing club's Pontoon up off the mud, broke its back and left it in three sections.
The T and wall sections remained attached but the middle section has dislodged, and left resting on its side.
With the tide out, there was nothing to be done apart from worry about the incoming tide and the fact it would float up the river, potentially doing more damage or even becoming lost.
Members turned up in droves to see how they could lend a helping hand.
They are hoping to secure the middle section with ropes, but await the tide.
The lifeboat has agreed to stand by to help having already been called out earlier.
The damage is believed to have been caused at roughly 3pm this afternoon.
