A FREE business clinic to help local businesses of the Dengie has been set up to begin in Burnham.

The Local Business Clinic has been founded by Adele Bovingdon, of Bradwell, and Misha Roughley of MR Books, and has been set up to take place as a free drop-in service on the first Tuesday of every month at Station House in Burnham.

The aim is to have the service similar to a doctor’s surgery, a waiting room where business owners can mingle and network in a relaxed, informal manner amongst themselves, and a surgery room with officials to help with specific questions.

The service will also include a solicitor, bookkeeper, IT specialist and a hypnotherapist.

Adele Bovingdon, of AB Marketing Services, said: “The Dengie has huge potential with local businesses. Dengie Enterprise works with the pre start-ups and helps makes people's dreams reality with regards to setting up.

“We want to be the support for after that stage. Dengie enterprise already helps so many so we know there are people out there.

“A lot of networking events are during working hours and not convenient for those needing to be at work, so we picked 5-7pm to catch people on the way home to save coming out in the cold again.

“We want to be different. Which is another reason we are passionate about being free as well.”

The company have also launched an online directory which enables people and businesses to view online local business profiles and to promote their own at a £3.50 monthly subscription, due to go live in January.

The first drop-in clinic takes place on Tuesday December 10 from 5pm to 7pm at Station House on Station Road, Burnham.
