THE AMBULANCE service rushed to Southminster Friday morning following reports of a suspected heart attack.
The service was called to Burnham Road, Southminster, just after 8am on August 19. A rapid response vehicle reached the man, in his 40’s, in less than ten minutes.
The man was suffering from severe chest pain and was transported to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital for treatment.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.09am today to an address off Burnham Road, Southminster, to a man having chest pain.
“A rapid response vehicle was on scene in under six minutes followed by an ambulance crew who treated a man in his 40’s.
“He was taken to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital for further treatment.”
