THE CARNIVAL spirit continued in Maldon this week, as Daisy Chain Nursery held a carnival day for the children.
The nursery, on Wantz Road, Maldon, hold a special activity day each week based around a different theme.
This week, the nursery chose Carnival. Deputy Manager Kim Belham explained why.
She said: “We have a day each week where we hold special activities. With the carnival being on Saturday we thought we would keep going along that theme.
“The children had a great time making their own floats and parading them around the garden.
“It went really well, the children really enjoyed it. They loved having their faces painted and dressing up in these bright colourful costumes.
“Last week we did Harry Potter, this week we did carnival, and next week will be something different. It helps keep the children interested.”
