A MOTORING extravaganza will be returning to Maldon Promenade Park this weekend.
The Maldon Motor Show will return on Sunday, with spectacular displays of vintage, classic and retro cars.
The displays will including 45 car clubs, from vintage Morris vehicles to exotic Ferraris. Last year’s show saw over 800 cars on display.
Also on during the day will be an auto jumble, local automotive trade stands and craft stalls. There will even be a display of Mr Bean and his famous yellow Mini.
The vintage fair will include retro clothing and lifestyle accessories and for the first time a vintage tearoom, complemented by live rock and roll music and the Maldon Big Sing Choir.
The show is designed as a great family day out set against the spectacular backdrop of the barges on Hythe Quay.
Major sponsorship has been provided by local Maldon companies, The Quest Motor Group, Peter Best Insurance Services, the Tavern Garage, Maldon Salt and Maldon District Council.
Entry is free and the show is open from 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
