COMMEMORATIVE bunting will be provided at the Burnham Art Trail to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Burnham-on-Crouch RNLI.

The Burnham Art Trail will take place between Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, July 3.

Exhibitions will be put up by 41 artists from across the country across the nine days.

Every year, the Burnham Art Trail nominates a community project to support.

This year, the art trail has chosen to support the Burnham-on-Crouch RNLI.

Workshops, ran by the art trail in association with Burnham Stitch Up, a local textile group, have created 16 lengths of original bunting.

The design of the bunting is inspired by the RNLI and the artists on display at the art trail.

A total of 185 flags will be hung in the streets, linking the original RNLI launch station next to the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club to the current site in Burnham Marina.

The bunting will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Burnham-on Crouch RNLI.

For the first time, visitors to the art trail will also be able to meet the featured artists.

On the final day of the art trail visitors can get a chance to meet and buy artwork from artists between 12am and 3pm.

All the events during the art trail are free to enter.

A free guide and map of events and opening times can be found at Burnham Museum and participating venues.
