THREE vehicles were involved in a crash on a road in Burnham over the weekend.
Ambulance and fire crews rushed to Green Lane, Burnham on Sunday May 22 shortly after 8.30pm after reports of a three vehicle crash.
At the scene fire crews ensured the affected vehicles were made safe while ambulance crews tended to two patients at the scene.
A spokesperson for Essex Fire and Rescue Service said: “A fire crew attended the scene on Green Lane shortly after 8.45pm on Sunday.
“Thankfully no one was trapped in any of the cars, and the crews ensured all vehicles were made safe.”
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We received a call yesterday at 8.39pm to reports of an RTC on Green Lane, Burnham and sent one ambulance to assist.
“At the scene two patients were treated both for what is believed to be minor injuries and were taken to Broomfield Hospital for further treatment.”
It is not believed that any of the patients involved will suffer serious injuries.
The road was closed off for a couple of hours with the way being cleared by 11.30pm.
