A MAN was hospitalised after being hit by a car on Maldon High Street.
Ambulance services were called to the incident at 3.50pm on Friday May 20 following reports of a pedestrian involved collision.
A man was treated at the scene and then taken to hospital, with his injuries not considered to be serious.
A spokesperson from the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 3.50pm on Friday May 20 reporting a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian on Maldon High Street.
“An ambulance took a man, believed to be in his 50s, to Broomfield Hospital for a head injury but fortunately does not look to be serious or life threatening.”
