Tory councillor charged with destroying protected trees
A TORY councillor has been charged with destroying protected trees near her home.
Sue White, councillor for Purleigh, appeared at Colchester Magistrates Court on February 4 to face five charges against her.
She is accused of willfully damaging and destroying trees near her home in Nispells Chase on August 4.
The case was adjourned until March 10.
