POPSTAR Justin Bieber is rumoured to be performing at this year's V Festival in Chelmsford.
A £1million deal has reportedly been put to the singer to play this summer's festival in Hylands Park.
Previous headline acts include Beyonce, Coldplay, Radiohead, Oasis and Arctic Monkeys.
Last year's headline act was Kasabian.
A source told the Mirror: “Justin’s Purpose tour is coming to the UK in October, and he wants to have cemented his new image in the public’s mind before that leg starts. V Festival is the perfect opportunity to showcase his new, cooler material and will prove he can get even a tough crowd on side.
The first V festival took place in August 1996 and was headlined by Britpop rockers Pulp.
Blur, Manic Street Preachers and the Verve also played subsequent years as the nineties festivals had a more indie theme.
