Donations collected will go to Maldon Food Pantry, run by pastor Rob Sefton
Maldon District Council is teaming up with a charity to help people do not go hungry this Christmas.
The council, along with housing association Moat, are supporting Maldon Food Pantry.
They invite residents to do the same and have provided a collection point for food for the Pantry at the council offices.
Donations should be received by next Friday and will be handed to the Food Pantry, to be distributed to local people struggling in the festive season.
To donate, bring food to Maldon District Council offices, Princes Road, Maldon before December 11.
Offices are open Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
