‘Sick’ arsonist in bid to torch dog rescue centre
AN intruder who was disturbed while pouring petrol outside a dog rescue centre is being hunted by police.
Charley Nathan, joint owner of AA Dog Rescue Centre in Latchingdon, woke to the barking of her dog Chloe,arottweiler German shepherd cross.
Running outside she found petrol poured around the base of the Burnham Road centre’s vet building.
Mrs Nathan said: “It was such a shock.”
Anyone with information should call Maldon police station on 101.
