A man has been awarded £5,200 by a county court judge after an eBay buyer never paid for war medals he sold to him.
Peter Healey sold his father’s war medals online to pay towards his grandchildren’s university fees.
When the buyer failed to pay, Mr Healey, of Tiptree, started civil proceedings.
One year on, a judge at Colchester County Court ruled in Mr Healey's favour, awarding him £5,200.
