In a landmark day, pupil’s A*- B grades rose to over 50% for the first time in the school’s history, it was revealed on August 13.
Headteacher of the South Woodham Ferrers comprehensive, Mr Neal McGowan, said: “We are delighted with the results of our hard-working students this year.
“Our A*/B grades from all entries have risen to over 50% for the first time in the school’s history and this reflects the hard work, commitment and dedication of students and their teachers.”
Mr GcGowan added that an “impressive” 98% of students achieved a pass at A-Level and staff are “delighted” that the vast majority of students are going on to university.
