A former St Peter’s High School pupil will return to the Dengie to tackle a daunting 75 mile run in memory of his tragic pal.
Rob Dyer grew up in Orchard Drive, Mayland, and Lillian Road, Burnham, before moving to Denmark in 2005.
He will return to run the Saltmarsh 75 in October, the equivalent of nearly three consecutive marathons, raising money through the race and a raffle for Meningitis Now.
