A Maldon holidaymaker has described the terrifying moments a plane had to make an emergency landing.
Mum-of-three Emma Chapman was among 178 passengers on an easyJet flight which had to touch down unexpectedly after travellers and cabin crew noticed a “burning smell”.
Mrs Chapman, who was travelling with her two friends, said: “You just start thinking about your family.
“We didn’t know whether an engine was going to drop off."
