A community radio station is under scrutiny by Ofcom after foul language was aired on several occasions, leaving listeners disgusted.
Sexually explicit language and swear words were aired on Saint FM 94.7 on Sunday April 5, Easter Sunday and Monday last week, according to horrified listeners.
On April 13, listeners say a song called 'Go F*** Yourself' from something called Last Vendetta was aired and the word f*** must have aired at least 25 times.
Saint FM Board of Directors chairman Stephen Bates said: “Until such time as Ofcom conclude their review and we, our own investigations, I can offer no further comment on these matters barring the heartfelt apology for any offence that this has caused any of our listeners.”
An Ofcom spokesman said Ofcom was assessing whether or not to investigate.
