Police are appealing for witnesses after a series of burglaries in Stow Maries.

Thieves broke into a garage on The Street, Stow Maries, by forcing the door, between last Tuesday at 12pm and 8.40am on Wednesday morning.

They stole Matabo drills worth £450 and a Dewalt chopsaw, worth £180.

Suspects also broke into a shed on Church Lane, Stow Maries, between 4pm last Wednesday and 11.45am on Thursday.

Once inside they stole an outboard motor, worth £800.

Would-be burglars were forced to flee at 3am last Wednesday, after alarms sounded during an attempted garage break-in.

Thieves attempted to break into the garage on Woodham Road, Stow Maries, by forcing the doors.

They ran after setting off an alarm.

Police are linking the incidents.
