A film club will be screen Omar at its next meeting.
Directed by Hany Abu-Assad, the film tells the story of a young Palestinian freedom fighter who agrees to work as an informant.
The screening will take place at Maldon Town Hall on Wednesday, March 4.
Doors open at 7.15pm with the film beginning at 8pm.
Wine and soft drinks are available, at a charge, from 7.30pm.
The club’s programme for the 2014/15 season covers a wide variety of themes and includes films from different regions of the world.
In total seven more films will be screened between March and the end of the season including the award winning, The Selfish Giant.
