Maldon Drama Group will be performing three dark, humorous and haunting one-act plays by Harold Pinter.

Night School is set in 1950s London and the play embodies Pinters idea of domestic drama.

Walter has been away.

He returns to his childhood home where his aunts bicker about banal events and a stranger is in his room.

Party Time sees guests at a party for the affluent and powerful engage in apparent small talk but there is an underlying tension.

Who belongs, who can you trust and what has happened to Jimmy?

Victoria Station is a short story about the frustrations of a controller at a taxi firm and the driver at the end of the radio.

The three plays are presented by special arrangement with Samuel French Ltd, an amateur production in association with the National Operatic and Dramatic Association.

The one night only performance will take place on February 13 with the curtain up at 7.45pm Tickets are available from Maldon Tourist Information Centre or 01621 856503.

Prices are £8 standard, £9 balcony and £7 concession.
