Spate of car thefts in Maldon district
There have been a spate of car thefts in the district in the past week.
A white Ford Transit 115, registration WK57 XMC, worth £13,000 was stolen from Crown Way, Southminster.
The theft occurred between 10.30pm and 2.30am on December 2-3 while the van was parked on the road.
A red Toyota Hilux, registration N165 RJV, was stolen between 2-2.30pm on last Friday.
The vehicle had been locked and was stolen, with a small quantity of cash inside, from a driveway on Ferry Road, Burnham.
The car was worth £3,100.
