Clutching sunflowers and tealights hundreds of people gathered together this evening to celebrate the life of inspirational Laughlin Whiteley.
The brave seven-year-old, who battled cancer three times in three years, sadly died last Saturday.
He had received a stem cell transplant early this year and was in remission, but the cancer returned in the summer.
The St Mary’s Primary School pupil, known by his nickname Lockey, was named Most Inspirational Child at the WellChild Awards last month and received his award from Prince Harry.
Burnham's community pulled together to arrange the touching tribute at Milfields Park and tealights and 800 sunflowers were laid on the banks of the sea wall in his memory.
