An inquest has been opened into the death of a woman who was found hanged at her home.
Lindy Barker, 53, of Glendale Close, Burnham, was found at her home by her partner on October 8.
Emergency services attended but sadly her death was confirmed by a paramedic.
Police reported there were no suspicious circumstances.
Caroline Beasley-Murray, who opened the inquest at Chelmsford Coroner's Court last Thursday, heard the preliminary cause of death was hanging, although the court was still awaiting toxicology reports.
Mrs Beasley-Murray adjourned the proceedings for mention on November 17 and set a date for the inquest in the week beginning January 15.
