Visitors have been keeping Mangapps Railway Museum extremely busy over the bank holiday weekend as it celebrated its 25th anniversary.
The attraction in Southminster Road, Burnham, has been hosting a steam and gala event featuring two steam locomotives running for the first time in several years and a Changing Tracks exhibition to mark the 125th anniversary of the opening of the Southminster branch line.
Rail enthusiasts also admired a model railway from Chelmsford Model Club.
The celebrations were set to continue today, however with the wet weather, it is best to double check with the museum on 01621 784898.
