Three cars stolen from the dengie in one night

First published in News

Three cars were stolen overnight from outside homes in Burnham and Southminster.

A secure, grey BMW 3351 worth £18,000 with a registration of YD09XCJ was stolen off a driveway in The Cobbins, Burnham, overnight on August 12.

The same night a secure, black Ford Fiesta, worth £10,000 with a registration of EY62 WGA was taken from Devonshire Road, in Burnham, and a secure silver BMW 318D worth £12,000, with a registration of YC06CUU, was stolen from a driveway in Kings Road, Southminster.

A police spokesman said there is nothing to link the crimes aside from the date and locations at the present time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Essex Police on 101.

'Secure'.........& if any one was stupid enough to say their car wasn't 'secure', does that mean the scum bag that helped themselves to something that wasn't theirs is somehow less of a scum bag?!!
& the crimes not being linked means that there were 3 lots of scum bags active that night that the police probably won't catch, not just the one lot!!

The fact that 3 cars of a fairly high value were stolen on the same night in roughly the same area doesn't mean they're linked???

Come on Essex Police, we're not all born under the stupid bush. As far as you (EP) are concerned these vehicles are all insured so that all you' to do is issue the unfortunate owners with a crime number to present to their insurance companies and then do absolutely nothing about it.
