Against all odds, an avid Arsenal fan with a severe brain injury has re-built his life and has started a job for the first time in nine years.

In 2005, Phillip Barker’s life changed forever when he was the passenger in a car which crashed in Bury St Edmunds on the A14.

Undergoing years of rehabilitation and determined to defy all odds, Phillip has become a personal trainer (PT) at David Lloyd in Basildon.
