The proposal would have yellow lines on the whole of Princes Road
A suggestion to put more double yellow lines on a busy Maldon road has been greeted with frustration by local residents.
The proposal was put forward after residents of Princes Road, Maldon, said there had been occasions where they had been blocked into their homes.
It has been greeted with calls for no further yellow lines, but instead permit parking has been suggested.
Town councillor, Tom Kelly said the proposal was ‘overkill’ and would cause chaos with patients of the Longfield Medical Centre and Blackwater Pharmacy, both Princes Road.
