‘Question Time’ comes to Maldon, with residents and patients able to question local medical representatives.
Blackwater and Longfield Patient Participation Groups are holding a public meeting on October 17 at Plume School, Fambridge Road, between 7pm-9pm.
They are planning to hold the meeting in a ‘Question Time’ format, allowing a larger panel of speakers than at previous PPG meetings.
John Whittingdale has been invited and the groups hope representatives from NHS England, NHS Action Party, Mid Essex CCG and Maldon District Council will be present.
Members of the public will be able to grill the representatives.
Chairman of Blackwater PPG, Trevor Fernandes, said: “We have some key questions about plans for local health services and how we accommodate increasing numbers of people in the area.”
