Developers hope to build 37 new homes on a field.
Outline planning permission is being sought for a site between Maypole Road and Great Totham Road in Wickham Bishops.
In a planning, design and access statement, produced on behalf of the applicants, a Mr Marven and Mrs Cracknell, it states that the proposal would consist of 22 flats in two blocks of 11 and 15 houses or which eight would be detached.
The development would have an “avenue” style layout fronting Maypole Road, as well as a network of footpaths through the site and a “pocket park” within the development to provide open public space.
Outline planning applications can be used to find out whether a proposed development is likely to be approved by the council prior to the submission of a planning application.
