A woman has been rebailed following an crash that left four people needing hospital treatment.

Fire crews had to cut one woman free from a Toyota Aygo after a collision with a yellow Peugeot 107 in Steeple Road, Latchingdon on May 25.

Four people were taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, one with a potential spinal injury, two with chest pain and one with minor injuries.

A woman in her 50s was arrested on suspicion of careless driving and released on police bail until July 16 following the accident.

She has been rebailed until September 13.
