Maldon residents can mark centenary of the outbreak of the First World War at a remembrance service.
There will be an act of remembrance at the war memorial in Maldon High Street on August 3 at 3pm, followed by a community service at the United Reformed Church on Market Hill.
Plume School pupils will also tell the stories of local people who lost their lives in the conflict.
Everyone, of all faiths, is welcome.
