Vikings and classic cars will be among the attractions at this year’s Heybridge Community Festival.

There will be fun and games at Plantation Hall and the adjoining playing field in Colchester Road on Sunday, July 27.

See a Viking re-enactment group, the Triumph Classic Car Club and other classic vehicles, or enter your pet in a dog agility course.

Zumba dancing, air cadet displays, stalls, food provided by local caterers, children’s activities and live music will also keep visitors entertained.

It runs from noon to 8.30pm and a rock band will perform at 5.30pm and 8.30pm on the field.

The parish council has run the event for three years and 500 people attended last year.

Money raised will go to charities.
