Advertising signs appearing around Burnham, have upset local business owners.

Chris Fugeman, 45, of Ferry Lane, Creeksea, owns Marts Parts on Devonshire Road, Burnham.

He raised his concerns at Burnham Town Council on June 16, and says it took two weeks for the signs to be removed.

He said: “As a local business I am restricted on my advertising and I felt a bit left out.

“There are signs appearing for Burnham Town Market and other signs around the town and nothing was happening about it.”

The worst of it is that many of the worst offenders, think: Street Markets, Circus, Stevens, Funfairs Etc are either council sponsored or encouraged
