A rehab clinic on a small island was so badly organised that one patient was tied to a boat on the way there because she was so drunk, a disciplinary panel has heard.
Another tried to escape from the £10,000 a week Causeway Retreat on Osea Island by swimming to the mainland, it was claimed.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council has heard allegations against Brendan Quinn, who managed the clinic, which treated patients including Take That's Mark Owen and the late Amy Winehouse.
Quinn denies all the allegations made against him and insisted former staff members had made up elaborate stories to ruin his reputation.
