An avid wildlife lover was thrilled when his work was featured on BBC’s Springwatch programme.
Russell Savory, 60, aerodrome manager at Stow Maries, spent three months collecting hours of footageof water voles in the pond outside his office at the aerodrome.
He sent his footage to the BBC and it was used in episode two, on May 27.
Russell said: “I immensely enjoyed it.
“It’s all the planning that takes time.
“I knew what time the water voles were up and where they go.
“I used a very wide angle camera to try and see the surroundings as they would see them, on the same scale.
“Reeds look like tree trunks, it looks like Lilliput.”
