Organisers of the inaugural Samstock music festival in Langford joined headline act Toploader on stage.
More than 1,500 people turned out for Saturday' event at the Museum in Power in aid of Maldon teenanger Sam Richards, 18.
He is undergoing rehabilitation after a near fatal playground accident in 2012.
His mum Teresa Mecoy and her friends, who organised Samstock, joined Toploader for a singalong and hope to hold the festival again next year for other good causes.
