A five-year-old boy is running for cancer charities in memory of a four-year-old who died of a rare cancer.
James Pease, of Bramley Way, Mayland, is taking part in the 5km Race for Life in Basildon this Sunday in memory of Dylan Duff, from Kilmarnock.
He will be running with his classmate at Latchingdon Primary School, Harry Williamson, five, Harry’s brother Jake, nine, and their mum Jo Reed, who live in Tern Close, Mayland.
James’ mum Michelle Pease, and friend Catherine Fell from Burnham, are also among a team called Dylan’s Super Divas taking part.
James is looking for businesses to sponsor his T-shirt, which he will wear for the run.
