Enjoying a trip on the barge
Unpaid family carers were treated to a barge trip as a thank you.
Charity Action for Family Carers organised the treat for more than 60 people on The Thistle, off Hythe Quay in Maldon, to mark National Carers Week.
One group enjoyed lunch aboard the vessel, while another had a cream tea on board after a lunch at the Queens Head.
A choir from Maldon Primary School sang for the carers.
