Maldon and Burnham Standard: Wayne Hogger is devastated at the loss of his bike Wayne Hogger is devastated at the loss of his bike

A dad was left devastated when his new quad bike was stolen from outside his home while he slept.

Wayne Hogger, of Cherry Gardens Road, Maldon, had bought the white Quadzilla 450 Sport quadbike, registration EY14 LKX, only seven weeks ago.

He said: “I was absolutely gutted when I realised it had been stolen.

“I had driven it home from Heybridge at about 6am last Saturday morning because I was going to help at a charity bike ride around Chelmsford.

“I fell asleep on the sofa for about an hour and when I went out at 7.30am, it was gone.”
