Burnham will be getting arty for the tenth Burnham Art Trail.

A total of 47 artists will be displaying their work in a free show at numerous venues around the town over nine days from Saturday, June 21.

All venues are within easy walking distance, most with disabled access, and include interesting public and private venues including a sculpture trail, private studios, gardens and businesses.

Internationally acclaimed artist Akiko Fujikawa will be holding three workshops a day on the art of Japanese gift wrapping from June 27 to June 30.

Local celebrity artist Sue Spiers will be roaming Burnham painting “lightning flash” portraits all week.

At Café 41, visitors can draw a portrait and stick it on the wall.

Or become part of a famous painting with five fun portrait booths, which will be dotted around the trail.

A free guide and map listing venue opening times is available at Burnham Museum and the tourist information office.
