A musical feast is on offer with this year's Maldon Festival, the biggest and most ambitious to date.
Orchestras, choirs, a cappella singers, chamber music, jazz and opera will be performed at venues in and around Maldon from Saturday, June 21 until July 5 on the theme of War and Peace.
Notable international visitors include John Scott, currently director of music at St Thomas Church in Fifth Avenue, New York, Mer'Antica from Italy and Spanish group, Scaramuccia.
