Young footballers and their parents tested their skills on the pitch for a charity tournament.
Maldon Saints Youth Football Club, based at Promenade Park in the town, held their first fundraiser for Prostate Cancer UK on Saturday.
A total of about 25 dads competed against Maldon Saints managers, 12 women took part in the ladies match and 45 children competed in the World Cup children's tournament.
The day raised about £1,500 and the club will be raising more money at its football festival this coming weekend.
