Maldon hairdressers have snipped their way to success after taking part in prestigeous talent competitions.
Reed hairdressers Pheobe Hall, 23, and Georgie Tucker, 33, made it through to the Southern Regional Finals of the Wella Trend Vision competition in May.
Miss Tucker won the regional finals and will go on to compete in the final round of the competition in October, at the Roundhouse in Camden.
The salon had further success at the Abstract Hair Show, hosted by the JET Training Academy, with apprentices Grant Williams, 18, who won Student of the Year and Amber Jessop, 17, who came second place in the Abstract Hair Show.
Junior stylist Chloe Clark, 23, at TC2 Hair Salon, in Washington Road, Maldon, also made it through to the Southern Regional Finals of the Wella Trend Vision competition with her entry in the Young Talent category .
She chose to base her entry on the theme “boarderline beauty.”
