Brazen thieves smashed through a fence before stealing a battery and fuel worth £500.
The suspects drove through the perimeter fence of a site in St Stephens Road, Cold Norton, between 6pm last on May 27 and 12noon the following day.
A battery was cut from a six tonne dumper truck and fuel was siphoned from a 21 tonne digger.
Some £1,000 damage was caused.
