Slimmers lost clothes as well as pounds for Cancer Research this May.
Members of Maldon, Heybridge, Wickham Bishops and Danbury Slimming World groups collected the clothes, shoes and accessories that no longer fit and donated them to Cancer Research UK shops.
The groups managed to collect 104 bags, each worth £25 for the charity.
Chris, manager of the Maldon Cancer Research UK shop, said: “We were absolutely thrilled to receive such a huge donation of clothing from the Slimming World groups.
“We’re delighted that they’ve chosen to use their slimming success to raise money for Cancer Research UK, it makes a real difference to our fundraising efforts.”
