Moses, a ghostbuster and a banana picked up some fares by taking turns as cabbies.
Drivers and managers for Arrow Taxis in Station Road, Maldon, raised more than £600 for The British Heart Foundation (BHF) by donning costumes for a day.
The team have held charity fundraisers before but it was the first time they had dressed up.
A customer had suggested they support the BHF.
