The site planned for development is behind Maldon cemetery
Developers have offered to pay to relocate Maldon’s hospital.
Kensington and Edinburgh Estates said it will build a new “health hub” for the hospital and GPs on land at Maldon Hall Farm in Spital Road, Maldon.
The 47 acre site will also include up to 320 homes, a new foodstore and local shops covering up to 32,000sq ft in total, a care home and offices creating up to 200 new jobs.
Members of the public can see the plans at Maldon Town Council Offices on Friday between 10am and 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
