A public meeting to discuss local crime and community issues will take place next month with Police and Crime Commissioner for Essex, Nick Alston.
The meeting will take place at Maldon Town Hall, in Market Hill, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on June 11.
Nick Alston encouraged residents of the Maldon district to attend and put their questions to him, the police and community safety team.
He added: "We explore the facts and context around any crime trends, with briefings from the local Essex Police District Commander, Chief Inspector Alan Cook, and the Community Safety Partnership.
“I will also ask challenging questions of the police and council, as well as highlighting some of the excellent work that is taking place.
”I want your views to be part of the debate about how we can best keep the streets and countryside of Essex safe.”
